A Jordanian man was arrested for charges of making business by buying and selling human organs, said an official security statement Friday.
The Jordanian Ramzi Khaleel Abdullah Farah was arrested in Yemen before left for Cairo to sell kidneys from seven Yemenis, the statement said.
Farah and the seven Yemenis, whom he convinced to sell their kidneys, were referred to investigations.
The statements said that the Jordanian had already paid the Yemenis some of the agreed money, and the rest was supposed to be paid in Egypt after conducting the operations and taking their kidneys.
Many people have been arrested in Yemen for the charges of buying and selling human organs.
